Ensberg Added To Roster
Pete Abe is reporting that Morgan Ensberg has made the Yankees and will not be wearing #21 this season.
He wore #14 at USC and in Houston - and he wore #2 with San Diego. My guess is that he'll grab #11, #12, or #19 when one of them opens up come Opening Day.

I'm feeling pretty good about the team. I'm not really sure how necessary Ensberg is, though. He can play third, first and second (in a pinch, according to Abraham). But I doubt he'll be getting much playing time anywhere but first. It just seems like him and Duncan are redundant.
I also sort of wish Giardi wasn't intent on taking a longman and a lefty. Hopefully Rasner secured the job of longman tonight (I really don't like Karstens), but I would really like to see some combo of Bruney, Ramirez, Ohlendorf or Patterson make the team. That's not going to happen.

I think he should be traded to the Dodgers now. They really need some depth at 3rd base. Still rather see someone like Woodward or Ransom for some solid middle infield defense.
