Don't They Make The Players Wear A Jacket & Tie When Traveling?

Click here to see an AP Photo of Brian Cashman, at Major League Baseball's G.M. meeting in Orlando, yesterday, talking to agent Scott Shapiro.

Cash has a little Tom Drake in him at times, no?

I thought Cashman had a ponytail until I realized it was a person sitting in the background.

I dunno Steve, given Pete Abe's description of Cashman rolling into the hotel to check in - I'd assume those were his traveling clothes.

I travel pretty frequently for business and I'll say that given the annoyance of airport security and other hassles - I rarely travel business casual, if ya know what I mean?

If I have a meeting immediately, I'm likely threaded out in jeans, a dress shirt and a blazer - but I've been known to travel in things as slovenly as shorts, crocs and a nice t-shirt.

I'd assume that I'm probably closer to Cashman's age than I am to yours - so maybe its a generational thing.

Hey, I would travel the same way - might as well be comfortable. My rag is not on Cash - more so, it's on the team for making the player dress for a charter flight, etc.
