Time Out New York has a nice feature today on where your Yankees ticket money goes...note that 28% of it goes to teams other than the Yankees.

Considering how the Yankees draw, and the price of their tickets, that's a lot of dough going out the window.

That was in last week's issue of TimeOut but it's still an interesting feature. They do a whole thing on how to land those hard-to-get tickets.

In the final analysis, that is the everlasting legacy of Selig as baseball commissioner. His agenda was always raping the Steinbrenner coffers, no ifs ands or buts, and it's a real insight into the mindset of the other owners that, ultimately, this was the unspoken vision that made them elect Selig for 3 terms. That and not "growing the game."
