White Hot Trade Bait?
From MiLB.com -
[Steven] White picked up two wins this week, and is now 3-1 with a 2.37 ERA since receiving a promotion from Class A Advanced Tampa in the beginning of June. The 26-year-old allowed just two hits over 7 1/3 scoreless innings against Syracuse on Monday, and he followed that up by surrendering an unearned run over eight innings against Ottawa on Sunday.
Would you trade someone like Steve White, now, for someone like Jason Michaels (who could help the Yankees this season and next)? I think that I would do it - considering all the other pitching prospects that the Yankees have now. The question is: Would someone else want him that bad? If he keeps pitching this well - maybe yes.

Comments
I know this is off topic, but after reading a lot of the comments lately:
If the Yanks were winning and having the season we expected them to, would most everyone here still be so mean? Especially to Steve.
I mean come on. The guy works his ass off to put up this site and he does a great job. Many of you come here to read and understand they are his opinions and whether you agree or disagree, you're at least 'professional' about it. But others who don't like what Steve has to say come to HIS blog and bash HIM. What are you, Sawks trolls?
At least show some appreciation. There's a difference between 'debating' and just plain being an ass.
Get over it. If you don't agree with Steve, cool. No one says you have to. But give the guy some credit for caring enough to write about the team he loves so much.

Well said, Dave. WW is the best Yankees blog bar none. I read WW not to read someone who agrees with me but because it more often than not makes me think, period. And anyone who doubts Steve's bona fides as a "true" Yankees fan is delusional.

Wow. Thanks guys. Don't sweat it. These things have a way of working out - they always do, one way or another.
I don't mind people not agreeing with me - that's never an issue.
But, if someone wants to get ugly about it, I can always end it quickly. Like I said - don't sweat it.
But, again, thanks for the kinds words about the blog and towards me.

Probably. Given the nature of the internets, there are a lot of tough guys hiding behind a computer screen, you know?
It seems that the nastiness comes and goes from time to time.
But yeah, keep up the good work, Steve.
