Let's Hear It For Godzilla
In his last 64 games, Hideki Matsui is batting .304 /.359 /.537 (in 284 PA). He has 15 HR and 49 RBI in those games. That's a 38 HR, 124 RBI, pace, over 162 games. If not for his slow start, over his first 21 games this year, and A-Rod's monster season, we might be talking MVP for Matsui this season.
