L.A. Times Looks For Story That's Not There
From the L.A. Times -
[Bartolo] Colon has had an even tougher time figuring out [Alex] Rodriguez, whose big night came with Angels owner Arte Moreno in attendance in Yankee Stadium. Rodriguez can opt out of his contract after this season, and there are already rumors he will sign with the Angels, speculation Rodriguez may have fueled when he seemed to go out of his way to praise the opponent Friday night.
"It just tells you how tough and competitive a team those guys are," Rodriguez said. "It's a tribute to Mike Scioscia. They never stop. After six innings, it was 9-9 again, and it was a new game."
That's going out of his way? And people think the New York media looks to make a story out of something that's not there....please.

I'll admit it: I actually LOST SLEEP last night over the dread that A-Rod's most likely gone after this season. Sad and pathetic, I know.

brockdc: how do you think Cashman feels? He's going to give A-Rod whatever the hell he wants.

Feinsand said the same thing on his blog.

I'm really starting to get worried about A-Rod. To say we desperately need him is an understatement.
