Hot Milk

Melky Cabrera, month by month, so far this season:

Month - (AB) BA/OBA/SLG%

April - (75) .200/.238/.213
May - (59) .254/.338/.424
June - (85) .306/.365/.459

Melky's season, on the whole, has not been good - with the bat. But, at least he's trending in the right direction.

According to Jim Palmer on the MASN feed last night, Damon said he's ready to reclaim his CF job. Whether that quote is true or not (Palmer - great pitcher; color commentator...not so much), Johnny Damon should not be playing CF under any circumstances right now. The guy can barely walk to the plate to take his customary three swings and misses. Unfortunately, even if he's hitting at his career averages, Damon is not a very valuable DH.
