Hey Steve,
Donnie for the HOF is certainly a topic for discussion. My feeling is he is a borderline - just miss. If he goes in, literally a slew of other borderline players do too.

Mr. D-23 is too much of a homer to present the case (comparing Donnie to Ozzie Smith???). No doubt if not for the back injury, he'd be there. What do you think? Can you make the case?

Donnie Baseball had a Rocky Colavito type career. That makes him a local legend - but not a Cooperstown guy, IMHO.

It's tough to say that Donnie isn't a HoFer, but his career is just short. I wonder if he could play again at first. . .?
