THT Sackmann: Yanks Farm 4th Best In A.L.
Jeff Sackmann of The Hardball Times ranks the farm systems for all the teams in baseball.
In terms of American League teams, he says that only the Indians, Twins and Tigers beat the Yankees. That's good.
On the downside, the Boston Red Sox, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, and Toronto Blue Jays are right behind the Yankees (in that order).
Just another reason for the Yankees to keep an eye on the Jays and not only worry about Boston.

I still go with the Baseball America ranks. Those guys actually go out and see the players play.
I just don't understand how you can place the Yankees system ahead of the D-Rays. Yes, the Yankees have more pitching at the higher levels, but the Rays have pitching at the low levels and a team full of heavy hitting prospects.
