Torre: This Is Fun
From Newsday -
Joe Torre said yesterday he is having so much fun during his 11th season as Yankees manager that his wife, Ali, no longer is trying to get him to retire. "I've enjoyed this year as much as any," he said, "maybe more than the last few years, for some reason."
It's amazing what a little less Kim Jones can do for a man.

I wonder what about this year makes it more fun for him. I'm not being sarcastic either, I'm actually very curious to know why he's enjoying this year more than others.

The linked article attributes it to his better relationship (less tension) with Steinbrenner.

I suppose that would do it although in fairness, everyone has a better relationship with Steinbrenner because he's lost at least half his marbles...

I guess your statement shows in your own "fairness" that a person's cruelty can sometimes be blamed on losing one's faculties while other's is to try for a cheap laugh.

Wasn't going for a cheap laugh, Rich. Lighten up.

Here's a cheap laugh. And a sexist one, too.
Steve, no woman with lips as big as Kim Jones' is completely worthless.

Still, I'd rather see John Flaherty's big ears asking the post-game questions than Jones' big lips.
