Hope For The Wright Stuff?
SG at Count the Rings⢠goes Inside the Numbers for the Yankees. If you check it out, there is an interesting comment to the study - Could it be, with a better fielding team, that Jaret Wright is not all that bad? Good stuff.

No. There is no team, real or imaginary, that can make Jaret Wright anything other than bad.

Actually, the only team that can make Wright anything other than bad is the Braves, who specialize in reclamation projects like him. The Yankees are the last team that should sign somebody like him, but, of course, they did, along with another one-good-healthy-season guy, Carl "Mr. Glass" Pavano.
