Scott Proctor As The 5th Starter?

Has Proctor pitched himself into the 5th starter picture? (Say that 5 times, fast.)

See the spring stats to date:

Yeah, it's just spring training. But, who else is even available?

It may be a little late in the game; he hasn't been a full time starter since AA (2002), but I wouldn't mind seeing him spot start.

I am suprised that someone who throws as hard as he does doesn't miss more bats.

He's a servicable guy, but I think he'll be traded. Maybe the light switch just went on or something.

I wonder what kind of players he's been facing, alot of major leaguers or alot of minor leaguers...

He does throw hard - but he also throws straight.
