George Steinbrenner is predicting the New York Yankees' five-year World Series drought will end this October.

"We're going to win it this year," the Yankees owner said Wednesday. "We're going after it."

Well, what else is he supposed to say?

The last few days have been good, because George can assert himself publicly while letting Ca$hman do his job.

He hasn't been this animated since leaving the stadium to inform Mr. & Mrs. Costanza that George was presumed dead.
