Greatest RHP In Yankees History
I was just running some sorts on the Sabermetric Baseball Encyclopedia and I came up with the following:

The first list is Yankees RHP career Runs Saved Above Average (RSAA) Leaders through 2005. The second list is most seasons by a Yankees RHP with a RSAA total of 20 or more.
If Mo can just keep doing what he's been doing the last three years - for another two years - then he should (around this time in 2007) be declared the "Greatest RHP in Yankees History." Maybe Big Stein can even get him a plaque or something when it happens?

If Steincrapper is still alive when it's Mo's time to move on, I think he'll show up at The Stadium to show the plaque up in Monument Park. I think there's no way that Jeet and Mo walk away from Pinstripes without plaques out there in left-center field. The rest of the guys, I'm not so sure...

My father and I debate this all the time. He says Jeter, Mo, and Bernie Williams all get plaques.
I don't know about Bernie, but if any of them deserve a plaque, Mo should be first on that list.

Monuments for Mo & Jeter. Bernie does get a plaque.
In the new stadium, are the old monuments going to move over, or are they going to stay put with replicas in the new place?

Don't know if Stein recognizes RSAA (:
If Mattingly gets a plaque, I see no reason Jeter, Mo, & O'Neill shouldn't get one. I am a bit suprised it took so long for Gator to get one.
WRT the new stadium, I would think that they would bring the monuments over (along with home plate). I'd love it if they were in the field of play, but I don't think that's going to happen

Mo's been doing it for 10 years. Ortiz has been doing it for 2. Grr...
Anyway, yeah. Mo, Bernie and Jeter all get plaques. I don't know about monuments, but Jeter and Mo would strike me for that, as well.

Raf, why would they bring home plate?

Tradition? It seems whenever a new stadium opens, they bring home plate from the old one.

Cool, I didn't know that. But somehow I think it will end up being auctioned off by Steiner.

Cool, I didn't know that.

Really? They did it @ 3 Rivers, Riverfront, and Jack Murphy. I am unsure about other new stadiums, but I wouldn't be suprised if they did

I guess I don't see home plate being that symbolic given that it's not an original piece of the stadium.
