Yogi is 80. Whitey will soon be 79. And, Scooter, bless him, will soon be 88. When they pass, who will be the "Greatest Living Yankee"?
Mattingly? Bernie? Gator? Roy White?
For many, it will be Mariano Rivera - and I think few could gripe with that selection. Thank you Herb Raybourn.

I'd have to go with Mattingly or Guidry.
IMO, in order to qualify as the "GLY" you have to be developed from within the organization, and if you don't spend your entire career with them, an overwhelming number of years must be spent here.

Well, you really cannot choose Guidry over MO, as much as I love Gator. But again, a pitcher as GLY? As great as MO has been, no.
