Mike Remlinger
I just saw that Mike Remlinger was DFA'ed.
Funny thing is, for a LHP, he actually kills RH batters - and does not do that well against lefties.
He's from NY and has experience. Yes, he's 39 and I'm not sure that you can trust Torre to use him the correct way - just against RH batters, despite the fact that he's a LHP.
I think he could have some value - certainly a lot more than the Nomo types. If I were Cashman, I would give the Cubs a call.

How sad is the state of the Yankees pitching staff that they have to seriously consider EVERY pitcher who is DFA?
