Cashman's Guarantee

Yankees G.M. Brian Cashman, quoted in Newsday today:

"We're not going to let this stuff hold us back or stop us," he said. "We're going to the playoffs ... no ifs, ands or buts about it."

I wonder where he's going to be able to buy all those tickets?

Is this Cashman's Jim Fassel moment? We can only hope!

To further the analogy, it would be nice to see us reel off a huge winning streak, go to the ALCS and destroy whoever we play, and then do very well in the World Series . . . (ok the analogy kinda tails off at the end, but that's how it SHOULD have gone).

In this day and age, come playoff time, all they need to do is get hot at the right time.
