Joey Gathright?
Bruce Markusen mentioned in his mlblog that the Yankees might be interested in Joey Gathright. I have no idea what the source is (as I could find nothing on this googling around this AM).
Gathright has top of the line speed. And, a decent eye at the plate. But, he's got NO POWER at all. And, reportedly, he has a shoulder condition that could be haunting.
This could be interesting.

Thanks for the link, I'll be checking his blog out as well... (:
As for Gathright, I'd have to pass. The "no power" label would scare me off. The second coming of Jason Tyner?
This may be a bit radical, but I've heard it mentioned before; how bout moving Jeter to CF after this season?

Jeter has said in past that he's amazed at anyone who can track a fly ball - because he's never been able to do it.

Which is a huge load of bull.

How come Cliff?

"How come Cliff?"
There have been many fly balls Jeter has tracked and caught... That play last year against the Sox where he dove into the stands, for instance.
Don't have to worry 'bout that in CF... lol
